What it Be, What it Be.

I am mad psyched about this blog. I've been dying to go beyond the world of the "Fashion Industry". It even sounds exhausting and feels even more exhausting to write out. Like heavy almost, and maybe even needy.

Personally, I'm sick of it.

I know people write and discuss about Fashion being a "culture" or a "mixture of cultures". Buuuut, that ain't it cuttin' it for me.

Fashion is COMMUNICATION.

A form of communication to say the least. For culture is a part of it, just like any other language. But there are other parts to it that don't make it as structured as culture. See culture has traditions and "ways". Essentially giving it some kind of structure to follow.

But fashion doesn't just follow a structure. It may be guided by a structure... but only to a very small degree. For that structure is basic. The structure is: What shapes and silhouettes look good on our body.

Once that is established... culture comes into play. Where are you from and where do you live? What religion do you practice or don't practice? What event are you attending? What is your environment in which you plan on being a part of? What do you associate yourself with?

All coming down to WHO ARE YOU? What do you like? What do you not like? What makes you feel? As in confident, sad, happy, tired, comfy, lazy, fun, hungry, angry, dark, light, passionate, angsty, loving, caring, proud, kind, active, pretty, relaxed, yummy, silly, innocent, sexy, handsome, cute, manly, strong, tiny, etc. etc. ect. ECT.

You are whatchya feel~~~~~

The list could go on forevz! Like actually. AND THAT IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FASHION MOST.

It communicates your body, what you know, what you do, and who you are.

It's almost like your soul, mind, body, and spirit.

It's a flow my friends. A symbol of your flow and it's relationship to this world and universe.
